Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with Improve PD in just a few minutes.


1. Register For An Account

Click Register as a new user

  • Initials: Whatever you are known by in short

  • FTE: your fraction of a full time contract - it may be used to calculate how much CPD you're expected to do

  • Password: must include 8 characters including upper and lower case, a number and a symbol

  • Registration Key: this will be supplied by your administrator

You will be sent a confirmation email and you will need to validate your account using the link in the email before you can log in. Use your email address and password to enter

2. Explore the Dashboard

The Home Page shows a summary of your development activity. Some of the following may not be available, depending on policy:

  • Progress: How you're doing in the programs that involve you

  • Development review: Shows your progress in compiling your current review

  • Calendar: Events coming soon

  • Activity: Events you've booked and attended

  • Absence: Arrangements and requests for cover

3. Notifications

CLick the bell icon on the top menu to show your notifications - a badge will show if you have new messages

Notifications will confirm bookings, remind you to complete comments for reviews and achnowledge absence requests
